This mini-documentary examines the history of Mexican migration to Durham, North Carolina, by focusing on the community’s celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the patron saint of Mexico. Each December, hundreds gather at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Durham to honor their patron saint and perform–through rituals, dance, and clothing–their devotion to Our Lady.
